Job summary

Swain County Schools Swain Middle School in Bryson City, North Carolina is seeking a part-time MS Assistant Wrestling Coach for the 26-27 season. Under general supervision, you will assist the Head Coach and report to the Principal and Athletic Director.

Responsibilities include implementing athletic policies, coordinating practices and games, maintaining equipment, communicating with staff and parents, and supporting student-athlete academic progress.

Qualifications

• Must meet North Carolina High School Athletic Association requirements.
• Teacher license and employment by Swain County Board of Education is preferred.
• Previous successful coaching experience in the assigned sport.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach in administering the middle school wrestling program.
• Coordinate practices, games, and transportation with the Athletic Director.
• Maintain equipment, facilities, and inventories; ensure safety and proper use.
• Communicate with staff, students, and parents to support academic progress and sport participation.
