Cloud Analytics Technologies, LLC is seeking a senior SQL Server Database Administrator to manage and optimize our SQL Server estate. You will work on versions from 2008 through 2022, implementing high availability, backups, restores, and migrations while driving performance improvements.

Ideal candidates will have 6-8 years of hands-on DBA experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to automate tasks with PowerShell.

Competenze

• 6-8 years of Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration experience in SQL Server 2008R2/2008/2012/2014/2016/2017/2019/2022.
• Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of SQL Server 2012/2014/2016/2017/2019/2022.
• Experience in migrating from older to newer SQL Server versions.
• Upgrading SQL Server and applying service packs and patches.

Mansioni

• Actively involved in troubleshooting incidents and system performance by tuning SQL queries and stored procedures using Query Store, SQL Profiler, DMVs and other tools.
• Create and manage DB maintenance plans; rebuild/reorganize indexes; run integrity checks.
• Implement and manage high availability and disaster recovery strategies (Always On AKs, replication, log shipping, clustering).

Job Description:

• We are looking candidate having 6-8 years of experience in MS SQL server administration.

Must Have :

• 6-8 years of Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration experience in SQL Server 2008R2/2008/2012/2014/2016/2017/2019/2022.
• Installation configuration and troubleshooting of SQL Server 2012/2014/2016/2017/2019/2022.
• Experience in Migrating from SQL Server 2012 (or any lower versions) to SQL Server 2014/2016/2017/2019/2022.
• Experience in upgrading SQL server to new versions and applying service packs and patches.
• Proficient with SQL Management Studio, Enterprise Manager, Query Analyzer, rescheduling jobs with SQL Server.
• Creating DB Maintenance plans, rebuild/reorganize indexes & performing integrity checks.
• Highly proficient in database Backup, Restore, Recovery, Linked servers, and Database Maintenance Plans.
• Experience with High Availability and Disaster Recoveries like Always on Availability groups, Replication, Log Shipping, Mirroring, and Clustering.
• Proficient in implementing different types of Replication Models like Snapshot, Transactional, and Merge.
• Experience in Implementing Always On in SQL Server 2012, 2014, 2016, 2017,2019,2022.
• Involved in Installing, Configuring, and Maintaining of WSFC in Windows server/SQL Server 2012 and above versions
• Auditing database configuration and security configurations.
• Actively involved in troubleshooting the incidents and System Performance by tuning SQL queries and stored procedures by using Query store, SQL Profiler, Database Engine Tuning Advisor, Windows performance monitor, DMVs, Resource Governor, Data collection Reports, crystal reports, DBCC and Custom Script, Built-in performance Report and Activity Monitor.
• Experience with Database Backup and Restore. Experience in various encryption types
• Should have PowerShell and SQL Scripting knowledge for automation things.
