Job summary

Cynet Health is seeking a skilled RN specialized in Medical-Surgical to join a 13-week assignment in Illinois. The nurse will work 12-hour days on a MS unit with a 1:5 to 1:7 nurse-to-patient ratio and telemetry resources available.

The ideal candidate holds an active state RN license, at least 2 years MS experience, BLS, and EPIC proficiency; orientation is provided, and floating to ICU/ER/BHC may occur based on unit needs.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with active state license.
• Minimum of 1 year in Medical Surgical.
• BLS certification.
• EPIC experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical unit.
• Monitor and respond to patient conditions; typical diagnoses include NSTEMI, COPD, pneumonia, sepsis, AKI.
• Document and coordinate care using EPIC; participate in patient safety and telemetry workflows.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors; float to ICU/ER/BHC as needed.
