Job summary

Endologix is seeking a Temporary MS Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain BI solutions that support operational, commercial, and strategic decision-making. You will create dashboards, data models, and automated reporting with strong governance and data integrity.

The ideal candidate has advanced Power BI expertise, experience with data integration from Salesforce, ERP, and Snowflake, and a knack for translating requirements into scalable BI solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field required.
• Equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant experience may be considered.
• Microsoft Power BI certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, scorecards, and data visualizations that provide actionable business insights.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand reporting objectives, and translate business needs into scalable reporting solutions.
• Design intuitive user experiences and visually compelling dashboards that improve usability, accessibility, and adoption.
• Develop and maintain Semantic Models within Microsoft Fabric to support enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives.
• Manage Power BI workspaces, user permissions, and role-level security to ensure appropriate governance and data accessibility.
• Integrate, transform, and model data from multiple sources, including Salesforce CRM, ERP systems, Snowflake, and other enterprise applications.
• Develop and optimize Power Query transformations, DAX calculations, SQL queries, and PBIX solutions to support reporting accuracy and performance.
• Perform data validation, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure the integrity, reliability, and consistency of reporting outputs.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for reporting automation, process improvements, and enhanced business intelligence capabilities.
• Analyze business trends, key performance indicators, and operational data to help stakeholders make informed decisions.
• Create technical documentation, data definitions, and reporting standards to support long-term maintainability and knowledge sharing.
• Support end users by providing training, guidance, and troubleshooting assistance related to Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Leverage AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to improve reporting efficiency, data analysis, and business processes.
• Prioritize assignments and deliver high-quality reporting solutions within established project timelines.
• Maintain a proactive approach to continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to reporting tools, processes, and data management practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Temporary Contractor, MS Power BI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that support operational, commercial, and strategic decision-making across the organization. This role partners with stakeholders to transform complex data into meaningful insights through interactive dashboards, data models, automated reporting solutions, and intuitive visualizations.

The ideal candidate brings advanced expertise in Microsoft Power BI, data modeling, visualization best practices, and enterprise data integration. This individual will work closely with business users to understand reporting requirements, improve accessibility to critical business information, and deliver scalable analytics solutions that drive informed decision-making and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field required.
• Equivalent combination of education, technical training, and relevant experience may be considered.
• Microsoft Power BI certifications are preferred.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining Microsoft Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models.
• Experience working with enterprise data sources, including CRM, ERP, and cloud-based data platforms.
• Experience developing reports using Power Query, DAX, SQL, and PBIX files.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into reporting and visualization solutions.
• Experience supporting end users and stakeholders in a business intelligence or reporting environment.
• Experience working within cross-functional teams and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Contractor or consulting experience supporting multiple business stakeholders is preferred.

Skills/Competencies:

Required

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Power BI report development, dashboard creation, maintenance, and visualization design utilizing UI/UX best practices.
• Experience developing and maintaining Semantic Models within Microsoft Fabric.
• Knowledge of Power BI workspace administration, user access management, and role-level security.
• Experience integrating, modeling, and analyzing data from Salesforce CRM (SFDC), ERP systems, Snowflake, and other enterprise data sources.
• Proficiency with PBIX development, Power Query, DAX, and SQL.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective reporting, dashboard, and visualization solutions.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy, consistency, and reporting integrity.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

• Moderate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for report development, data analysis, and process automation.
• Moderate to advanced proficiency in Salesforce.com report and dashboard development.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve business processes, reporting efficiency, and analytical capabilities.
• Experience with Python for data analysis, reporting automation, or advanced analytics.
• Knowledge of business analysis methodologies, business process improvement, and requirements gathering.
• Understanding of statistical concepts, trend analysis, and data-driven decision-making techniques.
• Experience with predictive analytics or advanced business intelligence solutions.
