Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) seeks a Graduate Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care within the medical group practice. You will assist providers with exams, perform venipuncture, and administer injections as ordered, ensuring patient readiness and smooth workflow in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT

In this role you will assist in providing nursing care to the practice patients; help maintain the functions of a medical group practice; provide direct patient care by doing lab work and venipuncture; readying patients for exams; assisting providers with exams and procedures, and administering injections and treatments as orders. Coordinates patient calls/walk-ins in emergent situations. Assists in other functions of the medical group practice as needed. Tasks performed are in compliance with department and policies and procedures, and within educational preparation.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:

Graduate from an accredited School of Practical Nursing.

Required Experience:

Minimum: No previous experience is required. Preferred: 2 or more years of job-related experience.

Required Certification/License/Registry:

Current LPN License in the State of Florida.
