Qualifications

• 1–3 years coaching at middle or high school level or competitive basketball experience.
• Strong knowledge of basketball techniques, strategies, and rules.
• Ability to foster positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, staff, and community.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead training, development, and instruction of middle school student-athletes.
• Develop and implement organized practice schedules.
• Prepare the team for games with strategies and scouting.
• Uphold standards of behavior and promote sportsmanship.
• Maintain regular communication with athletes, parents, and staff.
• Attend all practices, games, and events, including community activities.
• Ensure safety protocols for student-athletes.
• Oversee equipment maintenance and uniforms.
• Maintain records for regulatory compliance.
• Engage in professional development to improve coaching.
• Represent Codman Academy in the community.
