Qualifications

• Valid Iowa Coaching Endorsement or Coaching Authorization.
• Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills.
• Coaching and/or leadership experience.
• First Aid and CPR (Desirable).
• Knowledge of conference rules and regulations (Desirable).
• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) (Desirable).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach in operation of the athletic program.
• Coach and instruct players on rules, equipment and techniques as determined by Head Coach.
• Monitor state, regional, and district regulations governing the athletic program.
• Provide proper supervision of athletes at all times.
• Participate in meetings and encourage potential athletes to join the sport.
