Oakland Unified School District's Oakland Athletic League seeks an Athletic Coach for Urban Promise Academy Middle School (Winter 2026). This part-time position entails instructing MS boys soccer, coordinating practice and game schedules, and supporting student-athletes throughout the season.

Applicants should be able to coach, apply safety standards, and communicate with parents and school staff. Preference given to current district certificated employees with a CA teaching credential.

Formación

• Knowledge of coaching theory and techniques for middle school sports.
• Ability to follow CIF policies and school district guidelines.
• Strong communication with parents/guardians and staff.
• Commitment to student safety and ethical coaching practices.

Responsabilidades

• Instruct and coach students in the sport indicated (MS Boys Soccer).
• Help arrange playing schedules and practice plans.
• Perform/coaching responsibilities and attend required meetings/trainings.
