Job summary

Nisga’a CIOPS in Colorado Springs seeks a Mission Relevant Terrain - Cyber (MRT-C) Data Analyst to support space force missions via data analysis, dashboards, and MADSS integration.

You will normalize and analyze data, enter cross-functional cyber security information, design dashboards, provide QA, and deliver actionable recommendations to leadership.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in data analysis, cyber security, or relevant IT discipline.
• Must have at least one of the following certifications per DoD 8570/8140: Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP(ISC2), CC (ISC2), ECSS
• TS/SCI Required

Responsibilities

• Leverage IT abilities to analyze Space Force missions, systems, assets, and capabilities and translate into content to support cyber mission assurance.
• Perform data normalization, cleaning, manipulation, transformation, and analysis of complex systems, assets, networks, and processes.
• Manually enter cross-functional cyber security data into the customer’s database and visualization tools such as MADSS or Power BI.
• Design, enhance, and optimize dashboards or visualization tools provided by the customer.
• Upload cyber security reports and references used for data input, visualization, or modeling to the customer’s database.
• Provide quality assurance review for all data input into MADSS or similar data repositories.
• Deliver actionable recommendations to Lead/stakeholders to enhance the program or leadership’s decisions.
• Collaborate with Mission Analyst teammates on data initiatives and system-focused needs to enhance cyber security posture.
• Submit updates for relevant technical documentation, standards, guides, and training.

We are looking for a Mission Relevant Terrain - Cyber (MRT-C) Data Analyst in the Colorado Springs, CO area.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions

• Leverage your technical IT abilities to analyze Space Force missions, systems, assets, and capabilities, then translate that knowledge into actionable content to support the cyber portion of mission assurance.

• Stay updated on emerging data analysis technologies and trends that would affect the customer’s cyber security initiatives or decision-making.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Minimum Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in data analysis, cyber security, or relevant IT discipline.
• Must have at least one of the following, equivalent, or higher certifications per DoD 8570/8140: Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP(ISC2), CC (ISC2), ECSS

Pay And Benefits

The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 annually.
