Munich Re Specialty Group North America (MRSG N.A.) is seeking a motivated Associate Claims Resolution Specialist for our Schaumburg, IL office to join Roanoke Insurance Group division. You will handle a high-volume caseload, coordinate with underwriters, and drive claims resolution in collaboration with internal teams.

Ideal candidates will have strong communication and writing skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to navigate regulatory requirements while maintaining top risk controls

Responsibilities

• Monitor 500+ ongoing claim files daily in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate by phone and email with parties to resolve claims.
• Consult with management, underwriting, and sales on claims activity.
• Distribute claims reports to communicate insurance risk.
• Analyze regulatory laws to draft protests and petitions to reduce exposure.
• Develop expertise in claims handling and educate clients.
• Investigate claims to determine coverage and liability.
• Maintain relationships with external partners including attorneys and experts.
• Stay current with industry developments and regulatory changes.
• Participate in QA/QC initiatives to ensure high standards of handling.
• Analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Explain complex claims information to policyholders, agents, and brokers.
• Work with underwriters to ensure proper documentation and support.

We are seeking a full-time Associate Claims Resolution Specialist to join the Roanoke Insurance Group division in our Schaumburg, Illinois office.

Job Profile

• Fast-paced environment with daily monitoring of 500+ ongoing claim files.
• Communication by phone and email with parties involved in the claims process to assist in the resolution of claims.
• Consult with management, underwriting, and sales teams regarding claims activity.

MRSGM NA is open to considering candidates in numerous locations, including Schaumburg, IL. The salary range posted below applies to the Company's Schaumburg, IL location. The base salary range anticipated for this position is $50,000 to $65,000. In addition, the Company makes available a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, 401k match, paid holidays, sick time, and paid vacation The salary estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for candidates hired in this position in Schaumburg, IL. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the range.
