Job summary

Gestamp is seeking a Warehouse/Materials Associate at its McCalla Plant I & II to handle material flow, inventory, and MRO support. The role requires maintaining SAP records, assisting buyers, and ensuring accurate counts and documentation.

Candidate must be forklift certified, proficient in Word/Excel, and able to work varying shifts including overtime. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential to maintain safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 5 years manufacturing experience in material handling/warehousing.
• Gestamp forklift certified forklift operator.
• Experience using SAP for goods receiving and inventory management strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Gestamp policies and work schedules; follow attendance and conduct rules.
• Clock in/out and manage shift breaks; wear approved uniforms.
• Prepare and supply material for MRO in the MRO crib area.
• Manage material changes, bin locations, and SAP attachments.
• Verify incoming/outgoing shipments against records and resolve issues with Buyers/Vendors.
• Receive and process shipments into Gestamp systems; maintain accurate inventory in SAP.
