Job summary

VCA South Shore Weymouth Animal Hospital in South Weymouth, MA is hiring experienced Veterinary MRI Technicians to join our 24-hour emergency/referral/multi-specialty and general practice. We promote growth and development through ongoing training and a collaborative team.

Compensation: $27 - $35 / hour based on skill set, experience and licensure status. Experienced Veterinary Assistants welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Must have veterinary MRI experience.
• Ability to create and modify imaging protocols.
• Familiarity with hospital software and PACS workflows.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform diagnostic MRI studies under a veterinarian's direction.
• Create and adjust imaging protocols.
• Review patient information and prep for procedures.
• Coordinate patient flow through the MRI department to expedite service.
• Troubleshoot equipment and document failures; notify management.
