Job summary

MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital seeks a dedicated MRI Technologist to join our Imaging/Radiology team in Yakima, WA. You will perform MRI procedures and contribute to compassionate imaging care for patients in a community hospital setting.

The role requires ARRT MRI or ARMRIT certification (or within 6 months), WA licensure, and current BLS. FTE 0.9, Day shift, 36 hours/week with a sign-on bonus for eligible hires.

Qualifications

• ARRT MRI or ARMRIT certification on hire or within 6 months of hire.
• WA State Department of Health Radiologic Technologist licensure.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS).

Position Summary

The MRI Technologist is an excellent opportunity to work in collaboration with our skilled Imaging/Radiology team. In this role, you will perform a variety of technical procedures applying to Magnetic Resonance Imaging. You will work together with your team to ensure the most comprehensive and compassionate imaging care for MultiCare patients.

Responsibilities

• You will work at a technical level under limited supervision, independently performing MRI procedures
• You will apply independent judgment, initiative, and creative ingenuity towards all procedures

Requirements

• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (MRI) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) upon hire, or within 6 months of hire into this classification
• Certified with the State of Washington Department of Health, Radiologic Technologist
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS)

The Certification of Magnetic Resonance Imaging licensure does not affect any current technologists. Beginning September 1, 2025, it will apply only to new applicants who have completed a direct pathway program.

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $43.95 - $63.23 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
