External MRI Technologist applicants who meet minimum qualifications (at least 1 year of experience) may be eligible for up to $10,000 in sign‑on incentives for this full‑time opportunity. Relocation assistance may also be available.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Florida‑licensed MRI Technologist on a full‑time basis who will perform procedures in a compassionate and respectful manner. Weekend availability and rotating call assignments are required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a strong and thorough knowledge of all MRI (and associated) equipment
• Obtain high‑quality MR images ensuring only optimal studies are submitted for interpretation
• Facilitate the procedure by selecting proper technical factors/techniques, preparing and administering contrast material when ordered
• Prepare, transfer and position patients ensuring modesty and safety using auxiliary equipment as indicated
• Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time
• Maintain proactive and effective communication with patients and other caregiver colleagues, including the radiologist
• Monitor equipment operation, maintain cleanliness of the table and equipment to prevent cross‑contamination and keep the room stocked with necessary supplies
• Accept on‑call and call‑back responsibilities as needed to provide optimum patient care

Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical school education
• Valid ARRT registry
• 1-3 years of experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer‑relation, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, computer, and clerical skills
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
