Job summary

UT Health East Texas is seeking a weekend shift, full-time MRI Technologist in Athens, TX. The role focuses on performing MRI procedures and supporting diagnostic imaging under the direction of the Imaging Department Director and radiologists.

Qualifications include a High School diploma, enrollment in a radiologic technology program, and ARRT MRI certification within 18 months, with BLS to be obtained within 14 days of hire. Overtime and on-call work may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Enrollment in an approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT registered in MRI within 18 months of hire.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
• Functions under the Imaging Department Director (or designee) and MRI supervisor, in cooperation with radiologists.
• This position is subject to overtime and call back as required by the hospital.
