Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year MRI experience in hospital or clinical setting preferred.
• IV start experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
• Required certifications and licenses: ARRT MRI, NM state licensure, MRT by MIRTP NMED, BLS (AHA).

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced MRI imaging procedures.
• Provide support for other imaging technologists as needed and facilitate smooth patient flow.
• Ensure completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance and report malfunctions to appropriate personnel.
• Participate in quality assurance and resolve image processing/PACS issues.
• Participate in ongoing education, safety and technical advances within scope of licensure.
