Job summary

Precision Imaging Centers in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Full-Time MRI Technologist for our Northside location on Main Street. You will perform diagnostic MRI exams in an outpatient setting, with a weekday schedule and no on-call shifts.

The role emphasizes patient care, teamwork, safety, and technology proficiency, with opportunities for cross-training and potential ROCC remote scanning in the future.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Florida Radiologic Technologist License required.
• ARRT Certification in Radiography (R) and MRI (MR) required.
• BLS certification and venipuncture experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors within the MRI environment.
• Conduct MRI safety screenings verbally and through screening forms.
• Explain procedures clearly to reduce anxiety and obtain patient cooperation.
• Prepare imaging areas and select coils based on protocol and patient needs.
• Position patients and utilize immobilization devices for optimal imaging.
• Set technical parameters and operate MRI scanners and related equipment.
• Monitor image quality during scans and evaluate images for diagnostic accuracy.
• Administer contrast media as required.
