Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanner to obtain diagnostic images and ensure quality.
• Prepare and administer contrast media per hospital policy.

T he MRI Technologist maintains knowledge and awareness high magnetic field strength safety. The MRI Technologist will prepare and administer contrast media in accordance with hospital policy and procedure as well as state and federal regulations. The employee obtains patient history and screening forms, explains routine procedures and addresses patient concerns.
