Job summary

Jackson HealthPros seeks an experienced MRI Tech to interpret physician orders, position patients, and operate MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images. The role supports travel contracts nationwide, with a focus on full-time shifts in Omaha.

Requirements include ARRT MR, ARRT general, BLS, and Nebraska state licensure, plus 2 years of MRI experience. Benefits include housing and travel reimbursement, with rotating 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician scanning instructions and position patients for MRI procedures.

• Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging.
• Complete charting in EPIC/McKesson as required.

Job description

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• MRI advanced level certification and state licensure
• 2 years' experience as an MRI Tech
• BLS certification
• Certified MRI Technologist - ARRT (MR)
• Experience starting IVs
• Driver's license required at submittal
• 3 12-hour shifts per week.
• 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM.
• Days vary per week on a rotating schedule.
• Holiday requirement.
• Call or standby requirement.
• Charting systems include EPIC and McKesson.
• Department uses Siemens scanners, including Siemens Aera 1.5T, Trio 3T, and Espree 1.5T.
• MRI only. No floating to other areas.
• Gray scrubs required. Scrubs are not provided.
• Department-specific orientation includes 1 week of training with a flexible schedule.
• Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care departments.
