Job summary

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to interpret physician instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.

This role requires ARRT certification, MRI advanced level and state licensure, BLS, and ARRT (R)-MR or ARMRIT, with familiarity of Siemens Espree 1.5T. You will float throughout the Radiology department with 40 hours weekly and occasional on-call.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required.
• MRI advanced level certification and state licensure required.
• Minimum 2 years experience as an MRI Tech.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT (R)-MR or ARMRIT certification required.
• Experience with MR procedures across Head/Neck, Abdomen, Pelvis, Spine, Extremities, and MRAs; Siemens Espree 1.5T experience.

Responsibilities

• Interpret physician scanning instructions.
• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures.
• Operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.
• Float throughout the Radiology department and cover various areas.

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Tech to our team to accurately interpret a physician’s scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• MRI advanced level certification and state licensure
• 2 years ‘experience as an MRI Tech
• BLS certification
• ARRT (R)-MR or ARMRIT
• Experience with MR procedures including Head/Neck, Abdomen, Pelvis, Spine, Extremities, and MRAs
• Experience with Siemens Espree 1.5T MRI equipment

Assignment Details:

• 40 standard hours per week
• Weekend rotation varies, typically once a month, based on departmental needs
• Voluntary on-call requirement
• Float throughout the hospital and work in different areas of the Radiology department
• One major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy
