Job summary

A healthcare company is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to support diagnostic imaging services in Altoona, PA. The role includes preparing and positioning patients for MRI exams, interpreting physician instructions, and operating MRI scanners. Candidates need to have current ARRT certification, at least 2 years of experience, and demonstrate familiarity with MRI sequences and contrast protocols. Additionally, BLS certification is required. Overview

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to support diagnostic imaging services in Altoona, PA. The MRI Technologist will interpret and follow physician scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI exams, and operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images that support patient care.

Responsibilities

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography or MRI.
• MRI advanced level certification and state licensure as required for practice in Pennsylvania.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist performing clinical MRI exams.
• Experience with 1.5T and/or 3.0T MRI systems preferred. (Preferred)
• Demonstrated experience with standard MRI sequences, contrast administration protocols, and safety screening procedures.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience working in a hospital setting required. Experience in trauma centers or large acute care hospitals preferred. (Preferred)
• Facility type: Hospital.
• Shift name: Flex Shifts.
• Shift hours: Any 10 (10-hour shifts, covering 0000–2400 with variable start times).
• Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities within the network as needed.
