Trinity Health Oakland is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate state-of-the-art MRI equipment and produce high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation. Training is available for qualified candidates, and you will work with radiologists to tailor scanning protocols to patient anatomy and pathology.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an approved MRI program required.
• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• 1–2 years MRI technologist experience preferred but training is available.
• ARRT certification required; advanced MRI registry within 1 year of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI procedures using advanced imaging techniques.
• Adjust scanning protocols based on anatomical and pathological findings.
• Demonstrate knowledge of MRI/MRA clinical indicators and procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians for optimal imaging outcomes.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality throughout the imaging process.
• Operate independently and manage workflow with minimal supervision.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Completion of an approved MRI program

Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred

ARRT certification

Advanced MRI registry within 1 year

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
