Job summary

Shared Medical Services seeks an MRI Technologist to join a stable, full-time team operating a state-of-the-art mobile MRI scanner in multi-state locations. You will contribute to high-quality imaging and patient care while working within a growing, employee-owned organization that values long-term careers.

You will perform MRI imaging, including contrast administration under Radiologist guidance, and engage with patients to explain procedures and ensure comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) or ARMRIT registration is required.
• MR imaging registration is preferred.
• Ability to perform quality MRI imaging with limited supervision while maintaining professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures per accepted standards, including contrast administration under Radiologist guidance.
• Review patient screening forms and explain the procedure to the patient.
• Maintain patient care, comfort, safety and confidentiality, and keep skills current via continuing education.
