Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Washington seeks a skilled MRI Technologist to provide high quality imaging and patient safety for MRI procedures. The role requires preparing the MRI suite, processing images, and ensuring equipment meets manufacturer specifications.

Preferred candidates have Cardiac MRI experience and Siemens MR unit familiarity. WA radiologic technologist licensure and BLS are required at hire. Sign-on bonus or relocation assistance available for eligible external hires.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and expertise in performing required procedures and exams.
• Communication, interpersonal, customer service and problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of radiation safety, safety precautions and infection control practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality MRI imaging per protocol and position patients.
• Prepare MRI room, process images, maintain supplies.
• Operate equipment safely and ensure patient safety.
• Provide patient education and address concerns.
• Monitor patient condition and report to physicians.
• Ensure correct patient check-in and ordering via IDX-Rad.
• Adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
