Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a team-oriented MRI Technologist to join our Imaging Team. The MRI Technologist performs MR scans and supports imaging procedures in accordance with department standards.

Role requires MR registration or registry-eligibility, BLS, and strong teamwork and communication. The position offers a $2500 sign-on bonus and opportunities for ongoing education within a supportive hospital culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an approved two-year Radiologic Technology program.
• MR registered, registry eligible, or actively documenting cases to apply for registry within 18 months.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Willingness to participate in growth and educational activities.
• Language Line accessibility for patient interaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform MR scans in compliance with imaging department standards and protocols.
• Administer contrast agents under radiologist approval and site protocols.
• Assist radiologist with interventional MR procedures.
• Maintain MR equipment through preventive maintenance and safety checks.
• Screen patients and visitors for safety according to guidelines.
• Document patient care and imaging procedures in records.
