Job summary

Wellstar Douglas in Douglasville, Georgia is seeking a FT Registered MRI Tech. The role requires flexibility to meet department needs and entails providing safe, age-appropriate imaging services. The technologist will perform MRI exams, prepare patients, and ensure high-quality diagnostic studies.

The position offers a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and relocation assistance for eligible candidates, with a Thursday/Friday and weekend shift pattern in a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited MRI program and ARRT-MR certification.
• Minimum 1 year clinical MRI experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures with high image quality while following safety and patient-care protocols.
• Position patients, operate MRI equipment and monitor patient condition during exams.
• Verify patient identity, document procedures, and ensure accurate labeling of studies.
• Collaborate with radiologists and technologists; participate in scheduling and prep.
• Maintain equipment, cleanliness, and infection control standards in the MRI suite.
