Job summary

Providence Imaging Center in Anchorage, AK is hiring MRI Technologists to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. We offer full-time (1.0 FTE) day shifts and part-time options, plus a $10,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires.

Responsibilities include performing MRI examinations under radiologist supervision, maintaining image quality and patient safety, and supporting the imaging team with equipment and protocols. ARRT MRI or equivalent credentials and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent ARRT-recognized training.
• Within 1 year: MRI-related ARRT/credentialing.
• Within 1 year: Radiography ARRT credentialing.
• Within 30 days: BLS certification.

Responsibilities

We are hiring for multiple openings of MRI Technologist positions in the Diagnostic Imaging Department at Providence Imaging Center in Anchorage, AK!

Currently available schedules:

• Full time, 1.0 FTE, day shift, 40 hours per week.
• $10,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
• Part time, 0.6 FTE, day shift, 24 hours per week

Performs M.R.I. examinations under the supervision of a radiologist utilizing a sophisticated magnetic imaging scanner to aid in diagnosis of patient conditions. Daily exposure to high static magnetic field.

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or Allied Health or equivalent training through an ARRT recognized program or credentialing body.
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging or
• Within 1 year of hire: National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists or
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1 year Postgraduate experience in the field of Medical Imaging Technology.
