Job summary

Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK is seeking a full-time MRI Technologist (0.90 FTE) to perform MRI exams for inpatients, outpatients and the ER, using a high-field scanner and related equipment. This onsite role offers a 40-hour workweek with a generous signing bonus for eligible external hires.

Qualifications

• AMA approved training in a diagnostic imaging modality.
• Certification within 1 year of hire: NRMT - MRI or ARRT MRI or ARRT Radiography.
• BLS within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year experience in diagnostic imaging.

• Perform MRI procedures on inpatient, outpatient and ER patients using a high field MRI scanner and related equipment.

Required Qualifications

• Coursework/Training: Successful completion of an AMA approved training program in a qualified diagnostic imaging modality.
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging or
• Within 1 year of hire: National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists or
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• 1 year experience in diagnostic imaging.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year MRI experience.
