Job summary

HCA Healthcare's TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center in Smyrna, TN is seeking an MRI Technologist PRN to perform MRI and general radiology procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care in a diagnostic setting. You will review charts, interview patients, assess contraindications, assist radiologists, and maintain image quality while promoting teamwork within the department.

ARRT MRI certification and BLS are required at hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Technologist program.
• Two-year post-graduate related experience.
• Current Registration with ARRT; Advancement certification in MRI.
• If not MRI registered, must obtain MRI certification within 12 months of hire.
• Current American Heart BLS on hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI/General Radiology examinations with high quality.
• Interview patients and review charts/orders to obtain history and evaluate labs before contrast.
• Evaluate the patient before contra indicators.
• Assist the radiologist as necessary.
• Scan patient with appropriate equipment and correct order exam.
• Take plain film X-rays as needed.
• Promote teamwork within the department and hospital.
