Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. seeks an MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance procedures under radiologist supervision, ensuring high-quality imaging with patient-first care.

The candidate will hold an AMA-approved radiologic technology education, Texas license, ARRT/NMCRT MRI certification, and CPR. Prior MRI experience is preferred, with strict attention to detail and safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Radiologic Sciences or AMA-approved radiologic technology program.
• Specialized MRI training required; ARRT MRI certification preferred.
• 1–5 years MRI experience.
• Licensed by Texas to practice as Medical Radiologic Technologist – General.
• Registered with ARRT and/or NMCRT in MRI.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures under the direction of a Radiologist with technical precision.
• Maintains patient safety and prioritizes high-quality imaging.

Job Duties

Performs Magnetic Resonance procedures under the direction of a Radiologist at a technical level requiring constant attention to technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative. Recognizes the purpose of this service is to provide high quality magnetic resonance imaging and to prioritize the patient as number one.

Education, Training and Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Associate Degree in Radiologic Sciences or Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Specific Training in Magnetic Resonance Technology
• One to five years experience specific to MRI
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Licensed by the Texas Department of Health as a Medical Radiologic Technologist - General License.
• ARRT and/or NMCRT certification in MRI.
