Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging. The role includes venipuncture and assisting the Radiologist and Radiology nurses with sedation cases.

This position supports shift coverage for days and evenings. Qualified candidates will have ARRT MR certification (or ARRT R with planned MR within 1 year of orientation), current BLS, and state licensing as required by the Texas Department of State Health

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support certification required.
• ARRT (MR) certification required or ARRT (R) with plan to obtain MR within 1 year of orientation.
• Texas Department of State Health certification required.

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists« certification - ARRT (MR)
• Texas Department of State Health certification
• Work Experience: 1 year required
• Or ARRT (R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT (MR) license within 1 year of completing orientation
