Envision Imaging seeks a PRN MRI Technologist to join our team in Texas. The role requires performing MRI procedures according to protocol, preparing patients, and maintaining a safe, clean environment.

The candidate should have ARRT MR or ARMRIT credentials and CPR certification, with 2+ years' MRI experience preferred. This as-needed position offers Saturday availability and a competitive pay range.

Qualifications

• Two plus years MRI experience (preferred).
• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program.
• Current ARRT certification with MR Registry or ARMRIT.
• Current license from state medical board (if applicable).
• Current CPR certification.

Responsabilités

• Perform MRI procedures according to protocol and age-specific needs.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures to obtain optimal images.
• Review charts for information and screen for implants or allergies as needed.
• Coordinate scan protocols with Radiologist and transfer images as required.

Envision Imaging seeks a PRN MRI Technologist to join our team! PRN (As-Needed) / Saturday Availability | Position Pay Range: $37.51 - $48.35

Summary/Objective

Performs MRI procedures according to protocol and age-specific needs, including patient preparation. Maintains and monitors patient environment, adheres to safety procedures, and contributes to the security and maintenance of the unit.

Essential Functions

1. Interfaces with the patient to ascertain medical history and provides instructions and explanation of the procedure and/or exam to obtain the best possible image.
2. Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent. Screens patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc.
3. Obtains prior films/exams as needed and performs high quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for interpretation.
4. Performs exams while attending to patient’s care before, during and following exam and notifies the appropriate party if patient’s condition changes at any time.
5. Transfers images to other locations as needed.
6. Coordinates scan protocols with Radiologist.
7. Maintains and regularly inspects equipment and immediately reports any quality concerns as well as equipment failures or deficiencies.
8. Interfaces with Lead Technologist & Center/Area Manager regarding any and all departmental concerns.
9. Other duties as assigned.

This position has no supervision responsibilities.

Travel

No travel is expected for this position.

Job Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

• Two plus years’ experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) – preferred
• Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player
• Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment
• Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation

Education/Certifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification with Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or current American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
• Current license from state medical board (if applicable)
• Current CPR certification
