Akumin is seeking an MRI Technologist to ensure patient safety and perform high-quality MR studies across multiple sites. You will communicate with radiologists and staff, and may train new technologists and Patient Coordinators.
The role requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, state licensing as applicable, CPR, and ability to work at several locations. You will contribute to safe, accurate imaging and exceptional patient care.
As an MRI Technologist, you are responsible for patient safety and the performance of high quality MR studies. Ensures effective communication with customers, including radiologists as necessary. In some instances, trains new technologists and/or Patient Coordinators.
The employee may be exposed to outside weather conditions during transport of patients if working on a mobile unit. The employee will be exposed to a strong magnetic field. May be exposed to blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
