Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to perform superior MRI scans under the direction of a Radiologist. The role emphasizes magnet safety, patient comfort, and adherence to imaging protocols in a high-volume environment.

Qualified candidates have AMA-approved radiology training, ARRT certification, MRT Texas licensure, and MRI certification by ARRT. This PRN position supports the radiology department with flexible hours and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• CPR/BCLS certification within 30 days of start date.
• Graduate of AMA approved school of radiology technology.
• ARRT certification.
• MRT State of Texas license.
• MRI Certification through ARRT required by December 31, 2012.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality MRI scans on all ages under Radiologist supervision.
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic diagnostic environment following practice standards and magnet safety guidelines.
• Participates in departmental improvement activities.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Graduate of AMA approved school of radiology technology
• ARRT
• MRT State of Texas
• MRI Certification through ARRT required by December 31, 2012
