Job summary

St. David's Surgical Hospital in North Austin is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI scans and take radiographs to support diagnosis. You will prepare patients, document workflows, administer contrast, and ensure high-quality imaging while communicating with radiologists as needed.

The role requires ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, an associate degree, and BLS. Prior MRI experience and strong patient care are essential.

Qualifications

• One year of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Associate degree required.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures and provide instructions to obtain desired results.
• Complete required documentation on forms and workstations.
• Administer contrast using proper technique.
• Produce scans of optimal diagnostic quality.
• Label images and identify according to protocol.
• Communicate pertinent information to interpreting radiologist promptly.
