Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform proper safety screening for MRI contraindications and medications.
• Prepare and operate MRI equipment; adjust parameters to optimize images.
• Verify patient identity and the procedure requested.
• Start IV and administer IV contrast when necessary for exam.
• QA images and transfer to PACS in a timely manner.
• Comply with regulatory requirements and zone access rules.
• Educate patients on exams and potential side effects.
