Job summary

The Christ College is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and produce diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation. You will assess patient readiness, screen for contraindications, position patients, and ensure image quality within safety standards.

Responsibilities include patient education, adherence to protocols, documentation in PACS/HIS, and collaboration with the radiology team to manage procedures efficiently and safely.

Qualifications

• Graduation from ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology School required.
• Minimum 2 years related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, sterilization techniques, patient positioning and equipment operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners to obtain diagnostic images as requested.
• Prepare patients for MRI procedures and screen for contraindications.
• Position patients and acquire images within established protocols and safety standards.
• Verify imaging data and document procedures in HIS/RIS/PACS.
• Collaborate with radiology staff and assist other modalities as needed.
