Job summary

Kaiser Permanente seeks an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI examinations under direct supervision, following established imaging protocols and delivering high-quality patient care. You will work with patients of all ages, ensure safety, and provide clear explanations of procedures while maintaining efficient workflow.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders, assisting radiologists, administering IV contrast when required, maintaining room and equipment, and supporting quality

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist (Washington) OR MRI Technologist License (Oregon).
  • ARRT MRI certification required at hire.
  • Basic Life Support within 1 month of hire.
  • Proof of continuing education.
  • Infection control education annually.

Responsibilities

  • Review orders and schedule; perform MRI studies per protocols and consult radiologist as needed.
  • Venipuncture with IV contrast and operate the contrast injector.
  • Maintain room, materials, and cleanliness; support QA and on-call duties.
  • Ensure patient safety and provide clear patient communication during procedures.
