Qualifications

• 2 year Radiology or MRI program graduate.
• ARRT or ARMRIT completion of MRI course at Junior College level or above or equivalent.
• CPR Certification; MRI Board eligible.

Responsibilities

• Position and immobilize patients; select protocols to obtain optimal MRI scans.
• Post-process computer data to enhance image quality.
• Operate MRI support equipment.
• Initiate IVs for contrast administration per policy.
• Review and adjust patient charges as needed for procedures.
• Produce CDs for patients or physicians.
• Coordinate scheduling and patient transport.
• Maintain MRI patient log and QA documentation.
• Secure patient history to aid exam interpretation.

Education
