Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Allied Health; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Preferred: Current MA Radiologic Technologist license for MRI.
• Successfully maintains ARRT certification and BLS certification.
• Eligible for MRI registry with ARRT, to be completed within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conducts MRI scans by selecting appropriate equipment and setting technical parameters to accurately visualize anatomy.
• Assesses patients’ physical and emotional conditions, develops a care plan, and explains procedures to patients and families.
• Creates a supportive environment tailored to patient needs.
• Evaluates exam requisitions, abstracts patient data, and determines procedure appropriateness based on diagnosis.
