Job summary

The ideal candidate will have an ARRT MRI or Radiology certification pathway, 6 months MRI experience, and an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Graduate of a JRCERT-approved program.
• Preferred: ARRT MR certification.
• MRI experience: minimum 6 months.
• Licenses: ARRT in Radiography, Indiana Radiologic Health Operators, ARRT-MR within 12 months, BLS.

Responsibilities

• Position patients to capture the right image as prescribed by the radiologist.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions; monitor equipment for clear images.
• Monitor patients during the scan, ensuring comfort and safety; report changes as needed.
• Maintain patient records and provide monthly statistics as requested.
• Follow procedures to keep a clean and safe environment for all.
• Assist the radiologist in viewing and reconstructing images.
• Coordinate the MRI patient schedule.
• Perform patient care as a staff technologist when required.
• Other duties as assigned.
