Job summary

A health care provider in Manahawkin, NJ is seeking a Per Diem MRI Technologist. Responsibilities include operating MR scanning units and evaluating patient safety. Ideal candidates will be graduates of an accredited MRI program and hold ARRT registration as well as BLS certification. This role offers flexible scheduling based on availability and department needs, with a generous shift differential.

Qualifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Willingness to undergo training for venipuncture.
• Current and valid BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MR scanning unit and perform scanning procedures.
• Consult with Radiologist on scanning protocols.
• Monitor patient flow and accommodate unscheduled patients.
• Complete daily work schedule and document in Zotec.
• Perform equipment calibrations and quality control.
