Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is seeking a part-time MRI technologist to join our Radiology team in Hartford, CT. The role focuses on MRI examinations, patient care across adult age groups, and contributing to efficient imaging services.

The ideal candidate is ARRT certified with MRI registry and a Connecticut license, with completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. On-site work with rotating shifts; benefits begin day one.

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut license and MRI certification or eligible within 1 year of hire

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI examinations to support department efficiency and quality of patient care

Employment Type: Part time Shift: Rotating Shift

Position Purpose

The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her unit.

What you will do

• Performs M.R.I. examinations, contributing to the efficient operation of the department and promoting the philosophy, to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care.

• Provides direct patient care to all ages of patients, particularly focusing on the adult patient. Position may require working at either campus or access center.

• The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Must be graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

• Licensure: Registered American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, with MRI certification (or obtained within (1)one year of hire date), Current Connecticut License.
