Job summary

Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue, WA is seeking an MRI Technologist for per diem/part-time shifts. The role works within Medical Imaging to perform diagnostic and interventional MRI procedures and help develop operating policies in collaboration with the department leadership.

Qualified candidates will have an accredited radiology degree, WA RT license and ARRT MR certification upon hire, with ARRT MR post-primary preferred.

• AA/BA/BS degree through an accredited Radiology program or formal radiology technologist training program.
• Must provide transcripts or ARRT post-primary MRI pathway certification.
• WA State RT license and ARRT (R)(MR) required upon hire; license renewal biannually.

Performs diagnostic and interventional exams and procedures within established guidelines. The MRI technologist serves as a role model and resource within the department.**Per Diem / Variable Shifts****Qualifications:*** AA/BA/BS degree through an accredited Radiology program required or has satisfactorily completed a formal military or hospital-based radiology technologist training program.* Must facilitate the direct mailing of an official transcript verifying the successful completion of all courses necessary to satisfy the Structured Education requirements established by the ARRT for post primary pathway certification in MRI. This requirement is waived if candidate has already obtained the ARRT(MR) advanced registry.* Washington State certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and ARRT (R)(MR) required upon hire. Biannual renewal of RT state license required by DOH and Overlake Hospital, with evidence of same by primary source verification.* Minimum 1 year experience as a medical imaging technologist preferred.
