The role requires graduation from an accredited Imaging Program with required clinical hours. ARRT registry or registry-eligible status, and BLS within 30 days of hire are expected; licensure requirements vary by state.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completed required clinical hours.
• No experience required.
• State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice.
• ARRT registry OR Registry eligible (achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility); BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI imaging equipment and related software to acquire high-quality diagnostic images.
• Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and address concerns; provide compassionate support.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
• Maintain patient safety and imaging quality through adherence to protocols.
