Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to join the MRI Department at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, FL. This part-time days position runs Thursday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm and Saturday 6:30am-7:00pm, operating MRI equipment to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging.

You will collaborate with Radiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate information while prioritizing patient comfort and safety, with required ARMRIT/ARRT/BLS credentials and relevant hospital experience.

Qualifications

• MRI Technologist Experience required
• Preferred Imaging Experience
• Preferred Experience in hospital setting
• Preferred Experience in Radiology Department
• Preferred Customer Service Experience

Responsibilities

• Performing high-quality MRI procedures
• Promoting goodwill among coworkers and maintaining a comforting demeanor with patients
• Maintaining compliance with mandatory education and health requirements
• Taking precautions to protect patient and staff from magnetic field hazards
• Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed
