Job summary

Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a part-time MRI Technologist to perform MRI studies with patient safety and quality in mind. You will position patients, adjust imaging parameters, and collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other staff to ensure smooth workflow.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of MRI experience, an NH MR license, ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, and BLS. The role includes occasional overnight shifts and holidays, and offers a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• Medical Imaging certificate or associate degree required.
• ARRT MR or ARMRIT license required.
• NH MR license required.
• BLS required.
• 1–2 years MRI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Execute MRI scans for ambulatory, inpatient, and ED patients with safety protocol adherence.
• Inserts IVs and administers MR contrast agents; monitors for adverse reactions.
• Instructs patients on MRI safety and communicates effectively with staff.
• Performs QA procedures and reports equipment issues to supervisor.
• Assists with scheduling, transport, and inventory as needed.
