Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking skilled MRI Technologists to join our Radiology department. You will produce high quality MRI images meeting Mayo Clinic standards and work with a renowned team on innovative imaging technologies.

We offer relocation assistance up to $10,000, a pension plan, and comprehensive family benefits. This role requires ARRT MR within 18 months and Arizona radiography or nuclear medicine certification, with BLS and 1 year experience in radiography/MRI/NM.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) or Nuclear Medicine (N).
• Arizona certification in Radiography (CRT) or Nuclear Medicine (CNMT).
• ARRT (MR) required within 18 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support Certification is required upon hire and must be valid for 90 days or greater.
• Graduate of an ARRT-certified Health Science Program.
• One year technologist experience in Radiography, MRI, or Nuclear Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality MRI images meeting Mayo Clinic standards.
• Work within the Radiology department on innovation, education, and technology.
• Adhere to procedural protocols and quality guidelines.
• Assist in coordinating patient flow and shift coverage at Phoenix/Scottsdale campuses.

Qualifications

Additional Qualifications

• Knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span, cross-sectional anatomy and completion of MRI-related courses preferred.
• The ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and appropriately interpret information relative to the patient's age‑specific needs. Technical competence with general radiographic equipment and procedures.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment, making decisions and directing work and patient flow to maximize operational efficiency. Strong interpersonal skills with a commitment to customer service.
