Job summary

A Radiology Partners practice, Austin Radiological Association (ARA Diagnostic Imaging) is seeking an MRI Technologist to support diagnostic imaging across the Greater Austin area. The role emphasizes patient care, adherence to protocols, and collaboration with the Radiology Partners network to deliver high quality outpatient imaging.

Qualified candidates are ARRT or ARMRIT certified with BLS current and experience in IV injections.

Qualifications

• Graduate of recognized AMA Council of Education program in radiological technology.
• ARRT or ARMRIT certification required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Must demonstrate ability to perform intravenous injections with proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintains protocols as directed by MRI Coordinator/Lead.
• Performs daily QC on MRI scanners per ACR/state requirements.
• Performs IV injections for contrast following OSHA guidelines.
• Identifies patients and reviews exam paperwork; obtains medical history.
• Ensures images are sent to PACS per policy and tech notes transmitted.
