Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a Senior MRI Technologist to perform advanced imaging in a surgical/interventional environment. This full-time role involves day shifts over three days weekly, no call, and uses Siemens MRI machines.

You will support OR cases, train staff and students, and contribute to quality assurance and safety initiatives. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, performing independent scans, and leading process improvements under supervision.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a related field.
• Certification as an RT(R) and/or MR is required.
• Licenses such as ARRT CI VI or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience; MRI and OR experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MRI and radiology techniques.
• Ability to mentor staff and students.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and equipment for MRI procedures.
• Perform independent scans, including portable and emergency exams.
• Oversee departmental quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Lead safety and process improvement initiatives.
• Mentor new employees and students.

The position requires an associate degree or higher, certification (R.T.(R) and/or MR), and 2+ years of experience, with preferred MRI and OR experience.
